Chapter 3 - Solutions Strategic

From all the observation and the comparison of among the three museums, National Malaysia Museum should organize more activities and events in order to attract more tourist and also local resident’s attention to visit the museum often. Local residents like students will be beneficial to them as it broadens their general knowledge. Events that can be held in the museum include live puppet shows about the histories in the museum, showcase and exhibition, a theater that plays historical videos, art and craft activity for childrens and adults during the weekends and public holiday. These events provides advantages in a way that it promotes bonding among family and also friends as they could spend their weekends with fun activities, enjoying the times together, and leave a with an unforgettable moments. Besides that, these activities provides information regarding on the museum that in a way, educating locals and tourists on the importance of knowing the histories and visiting the museum.

A)     National Malaysia Museum   In every country in the world, there is a place where the government will collects lots of old collections and old antiques with a very valuable values and memorable items. Hence, the building also was built in many years ago with lots of historical background and its call National Museum. There is a National Malaysia Museum [1] (Malay: Muzium Negara) where located in Jalan Damansara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The National Museum was completed built in 1962 and the construction began in 1959. Yet, it was officially opened on 31 August 1963 by the 3 rd Yang di-Pertuan Agong,Tuanku Syed Putra Ibni al-Marhum Syed Hassan Jamalullal and it serves as a repository of Malaysia’s rich cultural and historical building. These three museum have their own identity and the architecture of the building are different. Besides, they also have different type of activities and event that held in the museums. The reason to makes the museum different are the surrounding and the culture. Therefore, will be doing some research in the field of the activities that held in different museum’s, and also will be further discussion about the how to attract tourist and local pay a visit to the museum.    Museum is an institution that cares for collection of artifacts and others objects, such as artistic, cultural, historical or scientific importance. Many of the museums in the world make these items available for public viewing through exhibition that maybe permanent or temporary. Most of the museum can be found in major cities, while are also small museums exist in smaller cities, town and rural areas. The reason to have a museum where they have varying aims, ranging from serving researchers and specialists the general public.
